Courses for the three days:

Scratch Programming
Scratch, developed by Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), enables students to learn how to create quite a big range of projects from computer-generated art and animations, interactive stories and games with block-based programming. It’s a good start for beginner coders. Your child will develop a range of coding and problem-solving skills, learning fundamental concepts of programming and logical thinking. These will help them ease into real-world programming. It’s also a platform where children can imagine, explore, and create while having fun learning. Best of all, every student will be able to bring back his/her creations home to share.

Mobile App Development
The MIT's App Inventor was created with the idea that anyone should be able to tinker, easily design and develop fully functional apps for smartphones and tablets. It uses a graphical interface which allows users to drag-and-drop visual blocks of code. The MIT App Inventor empowers children to move from technology consumption to technology creation. The course will give students an introductory experience in developing interesting Android games and applications.

Microbit Programming
Kids can program their own Micro:bit, a BBC designed pocket-sized computer which enables them to get creative with digital technology. Learning to code with JavaScript block editors, kids can build fun projects from simple rock, paper, scissors game to music-making instrument.
Little Juniors Coding Camp (Age 5-8)

Little Juniors Coding Workshops introduces the concept that technology is a creator’s tool by using easy-to-learn, fun and educational technology kits and visual programming courses. Students will realize beyond mobile and computer gaming, there’s so much more to technology. The hands-on experience in coding and hardwares makes learning more effective, engaging and enjoyable!

Learn to code with the kid-friendly MIT and Google visual block programming. Build circuitry projects, program robots to overcome challenges, explore unplugged (off-screen) coding sessions that teach kids concepts of coding using program solving and critical thinking skills.
